Liverpool Adverse Drug Reaction Avoidability Assessment Tool (LAAT)

Adverse drug reactions (ADRs) are common in children. They contribute significantly to patient morbidity, mortality and hospitalisation costs. The need for developing a new tool was identified during the Adverse Drug Reactions in Children (ADRIC) programme following difficulties using other avoidability tools.

Neonatal IV Guide

Prescribed doses of medicine for neonates should be measurable and able to be administered. This resource aims to provide easy access to reliable and consistent information on how to correctly order injectable medicines for neonates, and to give nurses information on how to prepare and administer doses of injectable medicine.
